Modern Day Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy
The Measom Group are committed to driving out acts of modern-day slavery and human trafficking within its business and its sub-contractors and supply chain. The Company acknowledges responsibility to the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and will ensure transparency within the Measom Group and with sub-contractors and supplies of goods and services.
The Measom Group of associated companies are all family-owned businesses and operate with sub-contractors in the construction and Automotive industry. The Group have relationships with external business that supply products, services and labour only sub-contractors.
This policy statement will be reviewed annually and published.
The Measom Group will not support or deal with any business that it finds is involved in slavery or human trafficking. The company Directors and Senior Management shall take the responsibility of implementing this Policy Statement and its objectives and shall provide adequate training and investment to ensure that slavery and human trafficking is not taking place within the company or within the supply chain.
The individual companies will carry out a supplier approval process which will incorporate a review of the controls undertaken by the supplier as part of the due diligence processes. Imported goods are potentially more at risk for slavery/human trafficking issues.
A full copy of this policy and a copy of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 will be accessible to all employees and can be obtained from the HR department upon request.
